Biography

Megan Young is an associate attorney at Riley Bennett Egloff with a practice focused on health care law, particularly the defense of hospitals and health care providers in medical malpractice claims.

An Indianapolis native, Megan earned her undergraduate degree in political science, with a minor in biology, from the University of Indianapolis, graduating summa cum laude. She was also a member of the university’s track and field team, competing as a pole vaulter.

Megan went on to earn her JD from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating cum laude and earning a Graduate Certificate in Health Law. During law school, she joined RBE as a summer associate, gaining valuable experience that deepened her interest in health care litigation and medical malpractice defense.

With a strong academic foundation in both political science and biology, and specialized training in health law, Megan brings a well-rounded and analytical perspective to complex medical-legal issues. Her background allows her to effectively understand and advocate for the unique needs of health care clients.
