Riley Bennett Egloff Announces Retirement of J. Mark McKinzie

Riley Bennett Egloff LLP (RBE) announces the retirement of partner J. Mark McKinzie effective December 31, 2024. Mark has been an attorney with RBE for 22 years. Prior to joining RBE, Mark had a distinguished career principally in insurance law, having served as general counsel for two Indiana-domiciled insurance companies, including Meridian Mutual Insurance as Corporate Secretary, Senior Vice President, and General Counsel.

After earning his undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Illinois, Mark earned his JD magna cum laude at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Throughout his career, Mark has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Indiana Super Lawyers, and is Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated.

Mark served the Insurance Institute of Indiana as Chairman of its Legislative Steering committee, as well as Chairman of the Indiana Insurance Guaranty Association. Mark is a founding director of the Urban Insurance Partners Foundation. Additionally, Mark is a Distinguished Fellow of the Indiana Bar Association.

Mark is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, the Insurance Institute of Indiana, and the Alliance of American Insurers.
