Biography

Megan S. Young is an associate attorney at Riley Bennett Egloff LLP whose practice focuses on health care law, with a particular emphasis on defending hospitals and health care providers in medical malpractice claims. A hardworking and diligent advocate, Megan approaches each matter with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to thoroughly understanding the needs of her clients.

An Indianapolis native, Megan earned her undergraduate degree in political science, with a minor in biology, from the University of Indianapolis, graduating summa cum laude. Her academic background reflects a curious and analytical mind, and she brought that same perspective to the university’s track and field team, where she competed as a pole vaulter.

Megan later earned her JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating cum laude and earning a Graduate Certificate in Health Law. While in law school, she joined RBE as a summer associate, where she continued to build her interest in health care litigation and medical malpractice defense through practical experience.

With a strong foundation in both political science and biology, along with a graduate certificate in health law, Megan brings a well-rounded, thoughtful, and diligent perspective to complex medical-legal issues. Her curiosity and commitment to careful advocacy help her effectively understand and support the unique legal needs of health care clients.
