Lindsay A. Llewellyn
Associate Attorney

Biography
Lindsay represents and advises clients in a wide variety of business and litigation matters, including matters related to commercial and business litigation, appeals, and intellectual property. She works on all phases of discovery and trial preparation, including conducting depositions and drafting motions. In addition to her trial experience, which includes arguing motions in court, Lindsay has also participated in numerous mediations to help clients obtain a resolution in their matter.
Prior to joining Riley Bennett Egloff, Lindsay worked for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, where she served as the inaugural law clerk to Magistrate Judge Doris L. Pryor for nearly five years, and later as law clerk to Magistrate Judge M. Kendra Klump. As a law clerk, she assisted in research and drafting orders in a variety of civil matters. While in law school, Lindsay was a judicial extern for the Honorable Heather Welch and the Honorable Timothy Oakes of the Marion County Superior Courts.
As a graduate of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) Leadership Development Academy Class 11, Lindsay is committed to serving her personal and professional community. She serves on the Executive Committee for the Women & the Law Division of the Indianapolis Bar Association and as a Board Member for Hear Indiana. She also regularly volunteers with the Indianapolis Bar Association, providing bar exam takers with essay assistance.
Represented eight individuals who suffered property damage due to a roofing company’s activities. Obtained favorable settlements for all individuals, including attorney fees.
Represented a business owner whose information had been used in an internet scam. Obtained verdict in favor of client.
Represented health care provider clients in defense of premises liability claims involving slip and falls by visitors in/around facility.
Represented health care providers in defense of Section 1983 claims.
Represented a business owner in defense of an invalid mechanic’s lien.
